Institutional isolation
Strict multi-tenant separation. Each institution’s question banks, answer scripts and results are partitioned, with zero data leakage between tenants.
Granular access control
Institutions define their own roles and grant or withhold every permission individually. Nobody sees more than their role allows.
A complete audit trail
Every evaluation action, annotation, score entry and permission grant is recorded, so any mark can be traced back to who gave it and when.
Evaluator integrity
The AI Proctoring add-on verifies identity and liveness and flags extra people, phones and gaze away from the script.
Server-enforced locks
A detected violation freezes marking on the server (HTTP 423) until it is cleared with a multi-factor unlock — not just in the browser.
Direct, short-lived uploads
Scanned pages stream straight to secure cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage or AWS S3) through short-lived signed URLs.
Fingerprinted at scan
Every page gets a SHA-256 fingerprint at upload, which also stops the same page from being uploaded twice.
Nothing lost in outages
Noolbook Desktop keeps its upload queue in local storage, so scanning pauses and resumes through power cuts without losing a page.
Audited support access
Support access is time-limited, justified and logged, and uses shadow sessions — no shared passwords, ever.

Can one institution ever see another institution’s data?
No. Noolbook is strictly multi-tenant: question banks, answer scripts and results are partitioned per institution with zero data leakage, and access within an institution is limited to the permissions each role is granted.
How do we know a mark was not changed?
Every evaluation action, annotation, score entry and permission grant is recorded in the audit trail, and every scanned page is fingerprinted with SHA-256 at upload, so changes are traceable to a person and a time.
What happens if an evaluator breaks proctoring rules?
With the AI Proctoring add-on, a detected violation — another person in frame, a phone, or prolonged gaze away — locks marking on the server until it is cleared with a multi-factor unlock, and the event is logged for supervisors.
